I composed this piece shortly after the murder of George Floyd on May 25th 2020. May 25th is also my birthday, and due to my mixed African-American heritage (although based in London), I was profoundly moved by the rising Black Lives Matter Movement across the world. I wrote it as a eulogy to all victims of racism and police violence. I am releasing it on May 25th 2022 exclusively on Bandcamp and will donate all the money from people purchasing the track to 'All African Women's Group', a self-help group for women asylum seekers and refugees. I will later release the track as part of my upcoming EP 'Cosmovisions', about how humankind can live in harmony with nature and itself.

Oh my people
I want to scream between my tears
For how much we have to bleed
To be free
